aIat – Invented by a group of neuropsychologists from Padua, the autobiographical variant of the Implicit association test (aIat) is based on a protocol developed by the University of Harvard to identify racial prejudices People are very quick to appear a real fact with an equally true autobiographical event. They are slower if they have to lie (for example by associating a crime scene in which they participated with an untrue event). The test is controversial because other experts have easily managed to distort it by instructing the subject to slow down the times of all the answers, both true and false.
