Africa is full of yellow bins: these are the containers with which women, at dawn, travel tens of kilometers to go to the nearest spring to take water for their families. Like the ones in the photo, in the Wajir district in Ethiopia.

In Africa water is a right denied to 4 out of 10 people, although the African subsoil is very rich in this vital resource for life. But for 6 million Africans, water remains a mirage: there are no wells, irrigation channels, pipes, toilets.
