Today, the best music for us is streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music. In 1967, however, it is the radio that makes Italians know about trendy music: on January 6th the first number of “Hit Parade” starts, the broadcast that every Friday at lunchtime presents the best-selling records. For more than 10 years it was the fixed appointment for millions of Italians.
